Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice describes how and why we collect, store, use, and share your personal information when you use Talksy Photo at talksyphoto.com or our mobile application.

1. What Information Do We Collect?
Information you provide: When you register and use Talksy Photo we collect your name, email address, username, and password. If you make a purchase, payment data is handled directly by Stripe — we do not store your card details.
Social login: If you register via Google, we receive basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) from Google in accordance with their privacy policy.
Content you create: Photos, videos, drawings, captions, and communication tiles you add to the app are stored securely in Supabase on servers in the Sydney (ap-southeast-2) region.
Device permissions: The mobile app requests access to your camera and photo library solely to allow you to add photos to your communication tiles. We do not access your camera or photos except when you explicitly take or select a photo within the app.

3. Legal Bases for Processing
We process your information where we have a valid legal reason: to perform our contract with you (providing the service), to comply with legal obligations, or with your explicit consent.
4. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Information?
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate Talksy Photo:
- Supabase — database and authentication (privacy policy)
- Stripe — payment processing (privacy policy)
- Google — social login (privacy policy)
- Vercel — website hosting
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies required for authentication and app functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Social Logins
If you log in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this only to create and manage your Talksy Photo account.
7. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email talksy@abiriverapps.com with the subject line "Delete My Account". We will confirm receipt and permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
8. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data storage, row-level security in Supabase, and HTTPS. No system is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security but we take reasonable technical and organisational precautions.
9. Children and Minors
Talksy Photo is a communication aid, and we recognise that the person using it may be a child or young person with communication needs. Accounts, however, must be held and managed by an adult (18 or over) — typically a parent, guardian, carer, or therapist — who is responsible for the account and any personal information entered into it, including information relating to a child in their care.
Talksy Photo is not directed at children as independent account holders, and we do not knowingly allow children to register or provide personal information to us directly. If you believe a child has created an account or provided us with personal information without the involvement of a responsible adult, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your Privacy Rights
You have the right to access, correct, download, or delete your personal information. To request a downloadable copy of the information we hold about you, or to exercise any of these rights, email us at talksy@abiriverapps.com and we will provide your information within a reasonable timeframe.

11. Updates to This Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The date at the top indicates when it was last updated. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
