Delete your Talksy Photo account

You can ask us to permanently delete your account and everything stored in it. This page is for anyone who would rather not, or can no longer, do it from inside the app.

The quickest way is in the app

If you can still sign in, open Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. A request made there is confirmed by your sign-in, so we can action it straight away — and you can cancel it yourself at any point before it happens.

What gets deleted

Once your request is actioned, we permanently remove:

Your account and sign-in details
Your photos, videos and drawings, including the copies in our storage
Your communication tiles, saved sentences, saved words and quick phrases
Your settings, and any feedback tied to your account

This cannot be undone, and we will not be able to recover anything afterwards. We keep only what the law requires us to keep — for example, records of a purchase for tax purposes.

If you pay for a subscription, please cancel it first in the app under Settings → Your plan → Manage billing. Deleting your account does not cancel it, and once your account is gone we can no longer identify it in order to cancel it for you — so you would keep being charged for something you no longer have. This is set out in section 6 of our Terms & Conditions.

Photos held on your own phone or tablet are separate from your account. To clear those, use Settings → Danger zone → Reset all data in the app before you uninstall it.

Request deletion

We will check it's really you first. Anyone can type an email address into a form on the open web, so a request made from this page is not acted on by itself — we reply to the address on the account and confirm before anything is deleted. Nobody can delete your account by knowing your email address.
